Have you heard of the Lakefly Writing Contest? It's free to enter, there's a chance to win a cash prize, and it's open to all Wisconsin residents of any age or to people attending school in Wisconsin.
There are a few categories a person can make an entry in: Poetry, Short Story, Short Story for ages 18 and under, and Personal Essays.
Prizes for each category are: $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place.
Time is running out to enter! Entries have to be submitted or postmarked by Friday, March 3rd!
